Investment Opportunity:

I recently began getting involved in buying homes off the courthouse steps and then turning around and selling them on the open market for $20,000 to $30,000 over buying price from the auction.

I am offering a 5% referral payout to those who refer clients to me and a 70/30% split to an investor (investor making 70% of the total sale).

I have a 10 page PowerPoint presentation outlining the details of this investment opportunity and a brief overview on the “Investment Opportunity Page” above for those interested in making a significant Return On Investment (ROI).

Please feel free to contact me via email at mhenderson@brewercaldwell.com or call at 602-376-0480.

Thanks

My ohhh my. I have to share this experience. On Sunday my hand was forced and close friends of mine dragged me to Skydive Arizona to jump for the first time. Being that I am somewhat scared of heights I was nervous that the butterflies in my stomach would hinder the exhilaration. Not the case.

(Note: Not my picture)

The best time of my life was the moment I stepped out onto the edge of the plane, rocked back and forth a couple times and leaped out of a small Cessna plane 13,000 feet up in the air.

I highly recommend that you try this at lease once in your life. Great time and down to earth instructors guiding you through this journey. Below is the link for Skydive Arizona. Well worth the money, I promise.

NEW CREDIT CARD LAW–BOGUS OR LEGIT– May 20, 2009

Here’s the deal: Banks are basically saying that because they’re going to have to change some lending practices to comply with the bill, they’ll be facing greater risk.To cope with that risk, they say, they’ll have to turn the screws on their best customers — the ones who manage their finances prudently and pay off their bills on time — by possibly raising interest rates, scaling back rewards and imposing annual fees.

“Those who have managed their credit well and currently have very good credit card deals will find that card companies are limited in their ability to distinguish between them and those that have credit problems,” Edward Yingling, president of the American Bankers Assn., said in a statement.

“The result will be some subsidy from those that manage their credit well to those that have problems, affecting negatively the terms the former will receive.”

My personal opinion, it’s bogus. What’s next? They start mandating that we all have to wear diapers, a stick a pacifier in our mouth too. Is the government implying that were incapable of managing our own finances? The government! They’re that last group of individuals I would take financial advice from.

Good Afternoon Bloggers,

I just wanted to inform you that our rent prices are not set in stone. The beauty of real estate is that most things are negotiable. So…..keep that in mind when you visit my website at www.ahouseisbetter.com.

Just yesterday I negotiated with an owner to purchase a refrigerator, washer and dryer for their tenant at a reduced monthly rent. It’s possible and it happens.

Thanks guys. If you feel like making comments, feel free. I love reading your input.

Light Rail Train…Personal Experience April 16, 2009

I am being frank, I despised the construction surrounding the installation of the light rail train and vowed to keep far from it. However, and primarily because my hand was forced, on opening game day to the Diamondbacks it was unanimously decided we would taxi our way via train to downtown Phoenix from Mesa.

For the reader and as added dramatic purposes, my ride towards downtown was by far more exciting than the return, mainly because we were just a few of 10,000 gamers who decided on the light rail as a means of travel and by the second stop it was a packed ride. Standing a mere 5 foot 5 and  constantly readjusting my frame in a manner to stay still as the train went in and out of motion while simultaneously holding onto my purse carrying the tickets to our fun packed day, the general atmosphere was relatively quite. But, I suppose the voices in my head spoke to soon.

Entering the station on Van Buren, an older lady with Diamondbacks gear on, and I would assume this was not her first ride, warned me to hold on to my purse, “It’s a bad neighborhood.” Without skipping a beat, the 6 foot 5 gentleman towering over me who reeked of cigarettes and appeared to have skipped his shower that morning replied, “Yeah it is,” in an incriminating tone.

Unhesitating, I crossed my arms in front of my chest, in a defensive position, while grasping onto my personal belongings with a grip strong enough to withstand the attack of my future potential mugger. Not that I was trying to stereotype, but a girl just knows when to raise a red flag. The remaining stops went without unnecessary worry and was relived to make it to our destination safe and sound.

BOB, sorry, Chase Field, here we come.

Our trip home was as uneventful as a dreamless sleep–I know. I wish I had more to add but I didn’t mind not one bit.

Overall, I feel multiple rides on the multi million dollar, concrete hugging, train should be experienced in order to  acquire a solid opinion.

Is it just me, or do others find it somewhat humorous to talk to tenants wh0 left half their house behind along with new neon green paint on the walls and wallpaper that looks as though it was reused separating a bedroom in half?
